What ages are doodloo books made for?
Our books are designed for ages 4 to 8 as a core audience — bold lines and generous spaces for little hands. But we say 'ages 4 to 96' on purpose: the detailed pattern pages and character work are equally loved by teens and adults coloring for stress relief.
Where can I buy doodloo coloring books?
All four available books are on Amazon as paperback. We publish direct, so ordering supports us properly. Barnes & Noble and TikTok Shop listings are coming this year. For wholesale or bulk orders, email wholesale@hellodoodloo.com.
How many pages does each book have?
Every doodloo book is 96 pages (including the story intro and back-matter). The current editions are paperback, square-format, 8.5 by 8.4 inches — perfect for a lap or a little table. Spiral-bound editions are on our roadmap.
What paper do you print on?
Heavy bright-white stock, specifically chosen to resist bleed from markers and feel smooth under crayons. You can press hard. You can erase. It's designed to take a beating from an enthusiastic five-year-old.
Is coloring actually good for stress relief?
Yes, and the research is solid. Studies from Drexel, the Mayo Clinic, and the American Art Therapy Association have documented measurable drops in cortisol and shifts in mood after 20 minutes of focused coloring. It activates the parasympathetic nervous system — the 'rest and digest' mode. We design our books specifically to support this.
Do you use AI-generated coloring pages?
Never. Every line on every page is hand-drawn by our tiny team. We use AI for things like boring admin, never for the art kids color. Every book is signed off by a real illustrator before it prints.
When are the 'Coming Soon' books releasing?

What's your return policy?
Amazon handles all returns for books bought through them — their policy applies. If there's a printing defect or damage in shipping, contact us at hi@hellodoodloo.com and we'll make it right.
Can kids color on both sides of the page?
Yes — the paper is thick enough that even markers won't bleed through. But we do recommend testing your specific marker on the inside back cover first if you're not sure.
Do you ship internationally?
Amazon handles shipping, so wherever your local Amazon ships, we ship. Most books are available on Amazon US, UK, and EU as of 2026.
